Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Basix for Men should work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or captions. This page says where we are, how to tell us when we fall short, and what happens when you do.
What we are aiming for
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced in US accessibility law, and it is the target we hold new work to.
We are being straightforward about status: this site is partially conformant. Parts of it meet the standard and parts do not yet. We would rather tell you that than claim otherwise.
What we have done
- Semantic headings so screen reader users can navigate by structure rather than reading top to bottom
- Text alternatives on images that carry meaning, and empty alt attributes on decorative ones
- Accessible names on icon-only buttons
- Correct roles and states on tabbed and expandable content
- Text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed or on a small screen
- Color contrast checked against the AA threshold for body text
- Forms with real labels, not placeholder text standing in for labels
Known gaps
- Some third-party components embedded in the site, including checkout and subscription management, are supplied by vendors and are not fully under our control. We raise issues with those vendors as we find them.
- Some older blog content may have images without adequate text alternatives.
- We have not yet completed a full independent audit.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of this site or the patient portal blocks you, email support@basixformen.com with the subject line "Accessibility." Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology and browser you use, if you are comfortable sharing that.
Two things will happen. First, a person will help you complete what you were trying to do, by email or phone, however you prefer. You should not have to wait for a code fix to place an order or reach your provider. Second, we will log the underlying issue and fix it.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days.
Alternative ways to reach us
Anything you can do on this site, you can do by emailing support@basixformen.com. That includes asking questions about treatment, updating your address, changing your plan, and canceling a subscription.
A note on accessibility toolbars
Some visitors find third-party accessibility toolbars helpful, and we may offer one on this site. A toolbar is an aid, not a remedy. Installing one does not make a site conformant with WCAG, and we do not treat it as a substitute for fixing the underlying markup. If a toolbar is the only thing standing between you and something you need to do here, that is a bug on our side, and the email address above is the fastest way to reach a person.
