This policy explains how Inventory Tracker (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares information when merchants connect their Clover account and use our reporting features provided by Basix Brands LLC (“we,” “us”).

1) Information We Collect

  • Merchant account info: business name, merchant and location IDs, email, timezone, currency.

  • Inventory data: items, variants, SKUs/barcodes, categories, modifiers.

  • Orders & line items: product IDs/names, quantities, discounts, taxes, timestamps, location/channel.

  • Payments & refunds metadata: amounts, tender type, refund amounts and timestamps.

    • We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV, or track data.

  • Device/usage data: IP address, device/browser type, diagnostic logs.

  • Support data: messages and attachments you send to us.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide core features: inventory tracking, gross sales by product reporting, exports, and alerts.

  • Reconcile revenue and refunds; detect anomalies and improve reliability.

  • Provide customer support and communicate about the service.

  • Comply with legal, accounting, tax, and security obligations.

3) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, and to comply with legal obligations. Where required, we obtain consent.

4) Sharing of Information

  • Service providers/subprocessors (hosting, analytics, error logging, email) under contract and used only to provide our services.

  • Platforms you connect (e.g., Clover, Shopify, accounting tools) at your direction.

  • Compliance & safety when required by law or to protect rights.
    We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5) Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations. You may request deletion; certain records may be retained where required by law.

6) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, encryption in transit, role-based access, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction/objection. Contact support@basixformen.com.
California residents (CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/share (we do not sell or share by default).

8) International Transfers

If data is transferred outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

9) Children

The App is not directed to children under 16 and is intended for business use.

10) Changes

We will update this page for material changes and revise the “Effective Date.”
